I design, develop and implement algorithms in 3D computer vision areas. My current focus is to enhance the quality of 3D images for improving the scene-object tracking performance. Among my other works, my recent algorithm on the enhancement of depth data removes the artifacts from 3D static/dynamic scenes in real time. The output from my algorithms can be used in various computer vision applications (such as, 3D reconstruction of a scene, enhancement of 3D point clouds, object tracking in 3D, autonomous driving and alike) to elevate their performances.

Besides this, I also manage the scientific research activities of a European project called EVOCATION. In this project, there are several researchers working on 3D computer vision and display technologies in different universities across different European countries. The goal of this project is to address the current challenges in 3D computer vision technologies, and develop products that would bring 3D technology closer to our daily life.
